Beauty!! I personally know the owner of the car and he took care of it. I'm actually surprised that he is selling it. I hope it finds one lucky owner and a good home.
This is my 430. It pains me to sell it but it has come time to move on to another Fcar. This car has been always been maintained to the highest standard and it comes complete with ALL service records from day one. The slight bumper tap is exactly that. Three weeks after purchasing I was exiting a parking lot waiting my turn to make a right to merge into traffic when I was literally rolled into by a small SUV by someone that was more concerned with looking at the oncoming traffic I was looking at and not the bright red car that was in front of her. This resulted in two small cracks in the rear diffuser and a small crack in the bumper. Completely non-structural. I panicked and called the cops and went through insurance to have it fixed. I regretted doing that ever since. I should have just had it fixed without filing a claim. Of course this resulted in a tainted Carfax. Live and learn. Universal has the pictures of the diffuser and bumper after the "accident". I can furnish upon request as well. I also have the full accident report as well if needed. The bumper and diffuser were replaced with OEM parts and professionally repaired by J&B Bodyworks who is an authorized repair shop for Miller Motorcars in CT. I also installed a Forza Componenti remote valve controller which comes with the car as well. The sound with the top down and the valves open is absolutely intoxicating! 3M film covers the entire front clip as well as all the rock prone areas of the side skirts and wheel openings. The Escort Passport is the 9500i which is completely concealed with laser shifters front and rear. Clarion radio is specifically made for Ferrari and has the Ferrari word printed on it and also is shown when powering up on the pop out screen. This was installed by an authorized Ferrari dealer. Bluetooth for phone, Nav, Ipod, Pandora, CD etc. Rear back-up camera ready but I did not install the camera. This stereo is leaps and bounds above the OEM unit that came with it. Included is the OEM unit. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to get into a great 430 Spider and at a great price. My loss is your gain.
steve is an awesome guy and thats an awesome car. ive met it a few times and steve takes care of his cars like only a few do!
Is that price because of the tap? That's crazy, the car is beautiful! I'd love to trade my 308 in towards this, but wouldn't get enough to bridge the gap in price. Nonetheless, that car looks fantastic, someone buy it!!! GLWS!
Yes. Because of that stupid tap. And thank you. The car is perfect. With the prices of 308's these days (I know, I have one...'83 QV) you're not going to be too far off. I would contact Pete at Universal and see if you can strike a deal. I'm actually still in shock it hasn't sold yet at that price.
Steve is also a great friend of mine, and I also know this car for 3 or 4 years. I am completely shocked that it didn't sell at this price in the first couple of days! The car looks immaculate and has always been pampered, and always maintained proactively. Steve, GLWS!
The current clutch wear is 59.5%. All service is up to date, and the car will only need an oil change in the spring time. Steve has done a great job in maintaining this car, and the next owner will be very lucky!
How does that translate in terms of time under "moderate" use (e.g., driven on weekends, maybe 1,000 - 2,000 miles per year)? Rough estimate?
are you referring to clutch wear relating to mileage? If so, the clutch wear is depending on a few variables: driving style, manual mode or auto (auto mode accelerates wear), and overall mileage.
