If you plan to bring the car into California you will be a sizeable tax. When I brought my F430 from North Carolina, I had to pay around a 9% tax.
Yes, CA would not be the place. There are several states that do not charge tax on sales and if you live there or have access to registering them there that is what I was referring to.
