I take it this an dealer fitted HGTE kit rather than a factory fitted one.

I saw it this morning in person. It's gorgeous. If I hit the lottery, it'll be mine!

 

Im not sure if this has been asked before , but can you not just order the parts and convert the F1 car to a manual transmission. Aston Martin was doing this on Vanquishes as a service since there F1 style transmission was terrible. If the HGTE package was added it seems that it would be the same thing to just convert it. They make all the parts , it would be relatively simple and not cost nearly the $400,000 upcharge.

 

I honestly feel really bad for sellers that get questions that are addressed in full on threads in other areas - specifically the 599 area with the '599 conversion thread'. Especially when they are blanket statements that are incorrect, not well thought out, and frankly, not a very appropriate. Instead of polluting an incredible ad with ramblings and suggestions, one could very easily go to the 599 area and answer your own question, and see how 'easy' it is not.

As a lover of manual transmissions and tactile functionality I scheduled an appointment to visit and admire, and decided it was simply an opportunity I couldn't pass up.
