I'm sure this message board does not need this info but here it is anyway.

This is a rare 2002 manual Ferrari 575M. Only 246, 3 peddle 575M's were produced out of a total of 2,064 made between 2002 and 2005. Only 177 were LHD of those only a fraction made it to the US market and in 2002 only 20 were available. This is one of the 20. I urge you to do your own research. You will be quite impressed. Yes this car has been driven and has a lot of mile (125,000+) but that does not take away from the rarity. A three peddle low mileage 2002 575M is worth $300,000. This car is price right for the rarity and mileage. This car is in great shape both structurally and mechanically. This car started off as a California car and than came to Florida where it currently reside. I'm asking $149,000.

Was the belt service in 2012 under your ownership or the prior owner's?

Two belt changes in 17,000 miles and 2 years time? Was it dealer serviced or an independent?

    GLWS btw, pretty car.

Yes, some additional detail on the vehicles service history would be very helpful. Presumably there's been quite a bit done on such a high mileage car, but it'd be nice to verify that.

    Thanks

What a fabulous example of a well-used and appreciated Maranello. So, potential buyers, this car or the low mileage, one-owner red one at Carriage House in Greenwich for about $330,000 more? Rhetorical question!

Fascinating how when a car hits a certain mileage point, the collectors and prospectors are no longer interested; no matter how nice the car is. Hence, the major price break. Just think how nice it would be if these people would just go away all together - the pricing would be fair on ALL cars and we would see all the special Ferraris back on the road again - instead of rotting in "collections."

That this car has achieved so many miles should tell you it must be a very special Ferrari that is about as sorted as you can possibly expect.

    GLWS.

The 575M had an upgraded engine for reliability, with steel connecting rods and sintered steel valve guides instead of the sometimes troublesome bronze guides of the 456 and 550. The engines tend to be bulletproof and last forever. In addition, the gearbox was updated with triple cone synchronizers (two syncho rings and a dog clutch) in the lower gears and this also enhanced reliability. The more they are driven, the better they like it.

    Hi Carlos,

It would be interesting if you could post how much maintenance was done to get to 125,000+ miles, e. g., number of belt changes, etc.. This would give an estimate of what the expected lifetime maintenance would be.

For all those interested, it looks like this sold on eBay a week ago for $129k. Looks like someone got a nice example at a great price.

Awesome to see it driven like that! I wonder if the service bills over it's life have been higher than the sale realize....

The fact that this person cannot sell the car at less than half the price of a low miles car tells me how much the manual pricing (430, 575 and 599) has to do with enjoying the manual and how much it has to do with limited numbers.

Hope this car finds a loving buyer that continues to enjoy it!

It was relisted a number of times on eBay, but it shows it sold on February 3, 2017 for $129k. Where do you now see it relisted?

So I started thinking, how many shifts has this owner done!!? THOUSANDS! I bet a min of 30,000....nothing to do with the price, just mind drifting. That's if the trips average 50 miles and there was only one cycle through the gears up and down.
