The car overall looks great. But I notice the gauge faces look like the are from the Challenge Stradale and not an F430. I've never seen those on an F430 before- but you do have the silver surround on the tach like the F430. Do you know if these are the gages straight out of the factory? If so I wonder if the factory used a hybrid CS package on early cars? I think its bone stock. I do have the recite from the service dept that installed the new tach. face plate so I assume it was just changed from Red to Yellow. I have all the service records. Works like a charm! My Service Tech says its all original. D
I noticed that as well. And crazily enough I've seen this on another early 2005 F430 as well. I guess it's possible that the entire cluster was changed, but more likely, knowing Ferrari, they were just using up old stock on the early new cars.
That sounds good. Like I said the car looks great and I just wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing something weird. GLWS. I love driving my stick 430!
Rare matching dash makes a huge difference aesthetically. I never understood why one would split the colors in a dash. I see so many black dash then other color everywhere else which makes it look like a german interior vs. italian
the black dash is standard in ferraris. i would estimate less than 2% of ferraris have matching dash. the black dash keeps the sun glare down.
Where are all of the manual fans? Numerous threads on how high the demand is and several beautiful cars in classifieds just sitting. Hopefully one of these guys steps up and puts their money where their mouth is. This looks like a great car. GLWS!
I am one of the most die hard Manual guys out there, there are around 10 cars in my family and 9 are manual (all except the SUV)....But the fact u can pick up Scuderias and 458's for cheaper than this I think is why sales on these 430 manual's have slowed down (I have only seen one move in the past 9 months i know of, the red one with the enzo wheels). I mean I would LOVE one, but it just hard to justify with the scuds and 458's as well as the 430 F1 for half price...I'm sure someone will buy it. It is the perfect color combo imo....I guess if i had FU money I would nab it up I am sure there are a lot of those people around here haha, maybe they will come out in summer time!
Sold my 06 cab about 4 months ago. Market has definitely slowed down. But the feel of a manual vs even the best dcts from ferrari and Lambo can't be compared in my humble opinion. Driver engagement is what keeps me buying manuals. I miss my 430...good luck with the sale
