This Ferrari 308 GTS is located in Phoenix History: 1979 Ferrari 308GTS Carbureted model finished in Giallo over Nero leather. This Giallo 308 was sold new on May 15, 1979 in Los Angeles California and was owned and titled by The 6 Million Dollar Man himself, Lee Majors. At the time Lee Majors was married to Farrah Fawcett and owned this 308 until sometime in the mid to late 1980s when the second Southern CA owner purchased the car. The car was owned by the second owner until 1996/1997 when the third Southern CA owner purchased the car and kept it until a private collector out of Dallas TX purchased it in 2013. The former owner is a FerrariChat member. I then purchased this Ferrari in April of 2016.The car is exceptionally well documented all the way back to new and has an enormous file of receipts and records. The paint is in great condition though not perfect. The Targa top is in excellent condition with a nice fit free from any shrinkage or damage. The interior is in excellent condition. This 308 has traveled a mere 44.000+ miles from brand new . Full major was done in late 2015 including timing belt and tensioners, and A/C compressor and drier. Most recent work to prepare it for sale includes all new fluids, alternator rebuild, all systems inspected and if needed, fixed. This 308 needs nothing and will impress. Im selling to fund another car purchase. price: $85,000 Having trouble uploading photos
I thank the previous owner for some of these photos. The car has not changed at all I will post photos of the interior and engine next week. The car is currently at FMS Ferrari Service. I wanted to have the car as close to perfect mechanically. Appears to be a beautiful car. Is the paint original? Any paint work? Rust? Looking forward to interior pics. Never have been a yellow car guy. This just changed. Beautiful.
I don't know if any paint work, but with all the years I am sure there has been some. The paint is very good condition. Always been a west coast car, so no rust.
Right, forgot about the 77; can't beat that. Good luck on your Countach hunt. Good luck with the sale and keep us posted in Lamborghini Chat!
Thank you I'm not sure if my price is too high or the market is just slow. I'm not in a hurry but would like to sell it while the car is at its best. If anybody wants to see it it can be viewed at FMS in fountain hills near scottsdale Arizona
I need to get serious about selling as the car I desire is available Any serious cash offer will be considered. Car is ready to drive and will not disappoint Absolutely ready
If you throw in Farah Fawcett (from the 70's) I'll pay u your asking price !! What kid didn't have a poster of her back then? Seriously though, I'm just wondering if the price includes any kind of 'Lee Majors premium' in it?
Thank you The market seemed so hot when I purchased and so slow when I want to sell. Maybe eBay next(hate to do it)
No lee Majors or Farrah fawcette residue I have a copy of the title from the six million dollar man, that's it.
Once I receive the car I will I got a more than fair price on my trade and decided not to pass up this opportunity. I figure the amount for the 308 was more than I could expect for cash in this current market. So, why not pull the trigger on the car I really want
