Miami is very very hot & humid most of the year So I wear mostly dry fit Nike polos & shorts every day My friends tell me I need to take it up a notch I'm thinking cotton polos by La Martina, Robert Graham, & Hugo Boss Any other suggestions ? Also need some loafer looking shoes that I can also use to run or kick azz just in case
Dri Fit t-shirts and short are also my daily outfit. Just need to throw in a pair of slippers. Cotton is nice, but I switched over to Dri Fit as it breathes a lot better in Hawaii and of course, rarely shows sweat. I got some nice shorts from Costco that are a Dri Fit type of fabric and they are great!
Well, WH did mention the "need to take it up a notch", not down (with slippers) which, may be impossible with shorts to begin with.
If you can deal with a bit of tropical look, I like Tori Richard shirts, very light and breathable. In terms of shoes, if you are going to literally kick, make sure they have some sort of tie and not just straight slipons, otherwise you will be finding yourself shoeless quickly.
I like the DryFit shirts and wear them a lot (corporate logo version). For shorts, Columbia and other companies make wicking shorts that look like nicer cargo shorts. They are for Hiking and Surf. I have a pair from RS Surf I really like, but cant find more of them Best, dsd
I have no fashion sense so I wear slippers, but when I wear shoes with my shorts, they are usually Chucks or Topsiders.
My friends tell me I need to take it up a notch Easiest solution- get new friends and keep wearing what you're comfortable in.
Now you'll be able to perfect the Laid-back-kick Grab your gat with the extra clip And close your eyes and hit the switch We're going to a place where everybody kick it Kick it, kick it, yeah, that's the ticket [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3QAHZicSjQ[/ame]
I think some sort of Sperry Topsider will be the winner just cus everybody knows them I really like these shirts by Absolute Rebellion. They do polos too Absolute rebellion Embroidery Collection Image Unavailable, Please Login
Top siders are great for relaxing then kicking ass at the drop of a dime. I love mine and wear them daily and I do a lot of walking. The rubber inserts are glued in terribly so don't be surprised if they become loose. Some special glue should be an easy fix to this but I have never tried that. For the two pair I have owned I just made sure the soles were in place before I put the shoe on. Tie them up tight and you should be able to deal out a nice ass whoopin.
Cole Haan (formerly owned by Nike) makes a version of the top sider that is imho more comfortable. They also come in a greater variety of colors. Cole Haan shoes tend to run a bit big so it is best to buy them in person.
My Wife works in Cambridge and tells me the latest trend with students is men's capri's. No matter what you do, never wear men's capri's.
X2 on the drifit shirts in humidity. When those trades stop, you'll hate a cotton shirt. I bought some guide pants at eddie bauer. They are light, dry fast and are subtle. Travex® Everyday Shorts | Eddie Bauer My wife bought me some Ecco sandals and I would recommend those too.
A friend of mine wore Capris once, we straightened him right out LOL I have some nice dri fit NIKE Tiger Woods golf shorts too
