    Seriously though, what about re-chroming?

    It seems there is hardly anyone left in Florida doing that any more.

    We actually sent a set of Porsche chrome wheels out to California last year as no one
    around here is able to to it any more and those whom claim they can aren't very reputable.

    I used a shop in Opa Locka a few years ago. They were grumpy but did a good job. I think all the environmental regulations have made it virtually impossible to run a plating shop. Certainly, not many landlords are going to permit it, so you have to have your own facility, and with the price of commercial real estate being what it is in Florida....
