The Ferrari and motoring community has lost another important member this week as Bob Tallgren passed away at the age of 81. Bob was a fixture at Ferrari of Central Florida and major motoring events across the country for years and, of course, was the founder of the original Winter Park Concours. Bob was a West Point graduate, flew helicopters during the Vietnam war, long time Ferrari man, friend, gentleman, great enthusiast and will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful person and a good friend. I worked with him on some events. He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend Lee
Did not know him personally but have seen him may times at events - perhaps I flew on one of his helicopters in Nam GOD bless him
Very sad news. Bob was a great guy. While Bob was working at FoCFL he sold me my first Ferrari. A 400iA much like the one he had at the time. My wife and I had many great times participating in Bob's events first in Mt Dora and then Winter Park. He cajoled me into entering the 400 at Cavallino. That was a very memorable experience. RIP
