Todays program shows 166 MM Barchetta Touring 0004 M of Oscar Davis, 212 Export Spider 0086 E of Peter Carlino, 375 MM Spider Pinin Farina 0382 AM of Andreas Mohringer, 250 GT LWB TDF Berlinetta 0555 GT of Mike Leventhal, then a TDF from Kentucky, the Herrington ex-Prince Bertil of Sweden 250 GT Coupe 0853 GT lightblue, the ex Harrah 400 SA Coupe, a 330 GTC, the 512 S of John Giordano, the 275 GTB/C Speciale 06885 of Preston Henn, Bruce McCaw's 250 GT Sperimentale 2643 GT, NINE 250 GTOs, a 330 LMB and a 250 GT Speciale 2429 GT.

We got into town last night....staying in Fernandina Beach. Will head down to the Ritz in a bit. (Will need large doses of coffee first.....long drive yesterday). I think today we are going to do some of the manufacturer test drives and RM preview stuff. What does everyone else have going on today? Anything else that is a "don't miss"?

Go to GOODING today Friday!! Gooding is just about two miles south of Ritz hotel at Plantation. Their auction is today Friday. RM is tomorrow Saturday.

Gooding Auctions at Amelia Island today sold the ex Mike Hawthorn 1951 Ferrari 212 Inter Berlinetta Touring #0143 E for USD$ 1.25 M hammer price. This beautiful lightblue car is going into a great collection of other significant early 1950s Ferraris.
The Daytona Spider sold for USD$ 910'000 hammer price.
Gooding also sold a really good Porsche 550 Spider for a world record USD$ 3'350'000 hammer price! It takes two to tango!
I think their sales total today is USD$ 35 M.
The RM auction auction takes place tomorrow Saturday.

Marcel, this may be too pedestrian <grin> but do you know what the Abarth 750 Spider went for? Lot 70 at Gooding.

Correct, it was absolutely sensational.
You arrive at a traffic light here in Amelia/Fernandina Beach and from every corner comes at least one ot these Beverly Hills Mustangs.......Thrilling!

Two tone painted blue 250 GT Speciale 0465 GT sold for $ 1.3 M hammer.
Wayne Sparling's white 250 GT Cabriolet Series II with covered headlights sold for $ 700'000 hammer.
Daytona Spider sold for $ 1.1 M hammer, to east coast buyer.
275 GTB/4 09721 sold for $ 1.0 M hammer.

Thank you for the updates!! This is fascinating information for all of us who arent able to make it. I had musical engagements today and tomorrow or I would have loved to have made the drive simply to meet you face to face!! Seeing the cars would have been secondary!!

The 400 SA in Amelia Island is not the ex-Harrah car but another one. Apologies for the previous incorrect information.

Just left the show. Some amazing cars. Finally got to see a 250 GTO in person. The Shelby Daytona Coupe. Aston Martin Zagato. Awesome experience. Will post pics later.
