There used to be one of these GP cars in the Netherlands as well (maybe still?), it belonged to a well-known collector of mainly Ferrari's, and he raced it extensively in historic events. It was always a feast to see it go around Zandvoort.

There is a lot of focus on the teardrop-style cars, and rightfully so, as they are truly extraordinary, but TL built beautiful cars way nefore them too, always with incredible attention to detail, and often rather unusual. I remember a friend who had a saloon from the twenties, with rear suiside-doors; a smallish car, very low for its' day, an early attempt at the sports-saloon theme. A jewel!

I spoke to the current owner when I was at Wintin not long ago while he was securing the car in its trailer. I've seen it so often I don't even take photos anymore but it is great that it is still being used.

I had a 1939 T-120 Coupe that was pretty much a basket case. Unfortunately it wasn't a coach built car. The pre war cars bring some big $. The teardrop coupes start at $4mill the last time I checked. Peter Mullin has quite a few.
