I love how this thing looks. I was a big fan of the SLS's looks, even though its proportions are just a bit off, but the new AMG-GT is a gorgeous gorgeous car. Especially the rear view.

I hope they eat up a lot of the 911's sales, it'll be nice to see these driving around.

No idea on how it drives though, but since I won't ever own one, I don't care.

Not sure how i feel about it. Im glad they didnt just make it another subtle evolution, and Im glad they are getting away from all the hard edged geometry

    Need to see more.

EDIT: Found more images and I like it. Its got retro/familia elements but is still moving forward

Looks nice except for that godawful tall snout required for pedestrian impact safety in Europe. I think Porsche may have the last laugh for having put the engine mid- or rear-mounted.

Front looks wayyyyy tooo similar to the rest of the "boring" range. If i saw that in my mirror, i could think it's a GLA/CLA/E Class..

I like it but not love it like i loved the SLS. How much? 80-100k? The 911 has one huge advantage, it has rear seats that work for kids.

I don't think collectors will let the SLS drop below 100k

The worst styling decision MBz ever made was to put the three pointed star in the grille of every model, instead of reserving it for the sportier classes. Talk about diluting your brand....

Well the Crossfire was conceived during Daimler-Benz's ownership of Chrysler and the SRT-6 had an engine designed and built by AMG....are we seeing a pattern here? How soon before a new owner of the AMG GT gets a "Hey dude nice Crossfire, I thought they were not made any more" in traffic?
