    I had a 1970 2000 with the hi-performance option (side draft Solex's, deeper and finned aluminum oil pan, etc.)--150 hp up from 135 hp, if I remember correctly. I have never owned a car with better throttle response, shifting was fantastic, speed and running up through the gears amazing. Very easy to work on. I wish I still had it.
