The BMW i8 is a glimpse into the future for BMW. The styling is dead on, but on the other hand the power plant is in question to some. If BMW really wanted to make it into a supercar fighter they would have to consider the 6.1L V12 that has powered the most amazing supercar of them all, the Mclaren F1. Because of the looks and where it would be placed in the market, we would have expected a boosted version of that motor for the i8, but they also would have needed to slap a $800k price tag on it.
Instead BMW chose to just be very innovative with the technology. Whether you like it or not it is where BMW is headed. To increase the curb appeal of this particular example we installed these HRE Wheels RS102 in 22x9 & 22x10.5 in the perfect finish with some aggressive Pirelli rubber. We think this futuristic i8 looks killer with the iLectric blue centers and perfectly matched white outers. What do you think?

I like it. the blue ties in with the trim accents on the car.

would like it more if the barrels were gray or black though.

I think that black car looks pretty awesome. The blue is subtle but ties in well.

Thanks Nartivetroy yeah we think its looks mean and agressive and it is one of the most difficult cars to give it that appearance since the lines are not very sharp and they flow.

The whole car also has semi circular lines which are soft.

Not easy to make that look in any way shape or form aggressive but you throw some dark smoke mettalic paint matched up with the proper BMW electric blue and do a photo shoot that looks like it was made inside tron you go your self a badass I8.

Friend from Denver brought his new i8. To show us. White with blue interior. The car was very hard for us to crawl in and out of. Those doors look great but man they make it tough on geezers.

Lots of people taking pictures of the car. It is stunning. He has special wheels. Very nice.
