Cool..... A friend did the same thing to his bus. He was working at another friends repair shop. He did it one Friday night at work. We watched him. We took it out to the illegal street races the next night. It was crazy fast. Smoked all the rice burners at the drags. The next weekend nobody wanted to race the purple bus.

Great build. Do you have longer story some where?

Wow... the entire engine is below the valence.

Only the Intake/fuel system is within the body.

Very low clearance to the turbo/exhaust.

Samulis: My VW Type 2 1968 Crewcab. I'm working on the 3.3 turbo write up.

Tcar: The engine placement in the engine bay is the same as the 911. The only mod to the drivetrain is the rear engine hanger. The ground clearance from the bottom of the headers is the same as my 930.

We had a '68 DoubleCab Bus many years ago, and it was quite slow.....even after we swapped in a later 1600 dual port engine.

You sir, have turned things up to Eleven......well done!

Please post some videos when you get a chance ;^D
