    I'm debating between a 2008 F430 Spider or 2013/2014 911 C2S cab or splurging for a new 911 GTS cab.

    Thoughts?

911 GTS should be the last N/A 911 before going to turbo

That would be my choice, although I hate buying new so the 2014 911 C2S cab is probably where I'd end up...

(Or wait for 458 Spiders to depreciate a bit more - I think it's better looking than the F430s, and would rather have the dual clutch over the F1.)

Sounds like he's an open car guy, although the new Boxster Spyder would be tempting.

Agreed - except the roof is a PITA.

Checked out a Jag XKR-S convertible today. Quite nice...but interior is getting a tad dated.

The truth is - I WANT a Ferrari, but I don't want to have to worry every time I want to drive a few states away at a time. I don't want a point A to point A car. I also don't want my car to become a full-time side project of managing repair schedules and sticky buttons.

Ugh, they put a plastic window on it. I thought they learned not to do that after the 986.
