Is done. I have decided not to do the rust and paint. It's on the RH side😊 It ended as the cheapest car ever to buy and fix. $3,600 to buy and less than $5,000 to do all needed. So I now have a rare? Fine running Opal. 6 auto that will haul four in comfort. Very happy

    Good luck w/ the kidneys.

There are a couple of Bitters that show up to our cars & coffee in Lafayette, CO semi-regularly.

Here, they are Opels... his wife was wearing an opal, though. :)

OMG I was in my mid 30's, saw it at British Motors in BH. Great interiors, very nice colors and the same seats as Maserati at the time. No grunt though.

Checking back, In his posts, the OP says he has less than $10k into it fixed up. Worth More if pristine. Never get an Fcar for close to that.

SC's are Opels mechanically. Straight 6. Pretty reliable.

Your top 2 pics are the SC.

The CD, in the bottom 2 pics is rare, has a Chevy V8, with an Opel platform.

It would be interesting to see a picture in this thread of the Ferrari 400 so that we could compare it to the Bitter.

Thanks for the link, Tcar. The design of both cars looks quite similar!

Thank you. Real nice cars. The CD reminds me of the Urraco and Espada.
