    graphene has been on the news for many years. like Tom said, Nobel prize for discoverers.
    graphene probably has commercial application in consumer electronics before automotive.

    Electronic applications require high purity, low defect density and the ability to dope both positively and negatively. I've not followed the field closely, so I can't say how meeting these and other challenges is progressing...T
