there are over 1000 posts on gtrlife about this. amounts to a new color, interior, bumpers, softer suspension, 20 more hp, and a stereo that pumps fake engine sound into car. big woop de doo!

in mean time still has original brakes and cooling that needed upgrading 5 years ago. and what used to be state of art 6 speed dct is now outdated. needs 7th gear and updated program for auto mode on track that is no where near dct levels

    I agree.

The whole package feels the same minus the extremely minor bump in power, redesigned center console, and the soft suspension.

The exterior brings the signature v-motion grill and is now riced out with accents. The 2016 soft suspension carries forward. The 2016 suspension is slightly softer than the 2015 and noticeably softer than the 2014 and older.

The center console design tried to eliminate buttons to place them behind touch screen controls. I've been in info technology my whole career and spend up to 15hrs a day on a computer. The last thing I want to do is touch a screen several times to do something that a single button did before. Cleaner look, yes. As convenient, no.

Most owners that complain about the interior are on a base interior without the amber or ivory upgrade. The upgrade is a hand stiched, semi-aniline, soft as a marshmallow for $4400 and sporty but comfortable for cross country driving. That's what I have.

The number of suspension changes to make it a true GT happened in 2015, that's why I daily drive one. They represent the most value in options, age, price and performance excluding Nismo. It's difficult to justify the $40k premium for a 2017 when you can get a 2015 for $75k all day long.

    For track driving, 2014-older > 2015 > 2016/2017

    For daily driving, 2015 > 2016/2017 > 2014-older

    For boulevard cruising, 2016/2017 > 2015 > 2014-older
