    Some interesting (new) video of the former owner of the BMW 328 Touring bodied coupe at various events ala Mille Miglia (retro) and Goodwood. I wish some of todays owners of great racecars were as enthusiastic and passionate as this guy was.

    Fantastic car! I used to hang out at Jim's shop in Long Beach years ago when he was restoring that car. Another metalsmithing friend of mine(also named Jim) shared shop space with him. We would sit in that old BMW, eat lunch and talk cars. Good times! Jim P also helped us build our old Ascot dirt car-much more rough and tumble back then than wine and cheese.
