    Hey Dale.
Just like all the other crap that is overpriced.

They're rare because they were sh:t cars new. Inboard discs, no power, CV joints that overheated and failed. Oh, and no parts support.

Just like those HOT early 911/912's, and 930's. Trash to drive. I wouldn't walk across the street for one.

Buy and flip every one you see. LOL

But then, I'm the only guy who lost money on a 991 GT3 RS. But damn.

Here's the original article, with photos:

Why You Should Collect a Vintage Audi 100 - Bloomberg

I remember the mid 70s when our insurance salesman stopped by the house. He was driving a new Audi 100, brown with 4 doors. As he walked out and got into his car (I was watching with interest from the living room window) I mentioned something about the car to my mom. She replied, "that's not you."

Considering the type of websites that a now promoting this car, maybe it should have been. ;)

Amazing how I was able to find a photo that's a reflection of my memory.

If this is the standard of Bloomberg and Financial planners knowledge on which they pontificate, its no wonder we had one crash and are heading for another.

This ain't nuthin' You outta read the gripes on the new fiduciary standard; you know, the one where the client's interest comes first? If this keeps up, they won't be able to even sell annuities anymore.

We used to laugh about how many of those you would see dead on the side of the road. Now a collectible ?
