nothing new here. could've written same review in 1990's without any change. maybe adding alfa 4c to the mix would've made this interesting

btw, I drove my elise 3+ hrs to a recent track day in very hot weather. borderline a/c made for an absolutely exhausting trip. the explosions you hear with every pothole makes you think the chassis split. yes, it was fun on track but the overall trip was a net negative. using boxster instead of elise for this trip would have been an improvement despite the elise agility.
