Ed, the original company and it's successors cranked out a lot of these cars over the years. Are you sure you've been seeing the same example? By the way, note that the seller's claim of "THIS IS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL CARS!" is meant to convey that this is one of the cars produced under the original ownership of Neil Glassmoyer and Mark Goyett, and not that this is one of the two (and a half) cars used in the filming of Ferris Bueller's Day Off (filmed two years before this particular car was even completed). And to the seller's credit, the film is never mentioned in his listing.
As the seller ( and owner of this car for past 14 years) I can say with certainty that this is the only time in 14 years its been for sale.....
