I've never been a big fan of the grill being the front bumper (started by Audi?) but I can't imagine the cost of a fender bender with Camry's new design. I count at least 5 panels that would need to be replaced on a front end collision. We have come a long way from the old mandated 5mph bumper. This seems like a money maker for Toyota parts division.

I had the exact same reaction when I first saw it yesterday. Crazy for cars that are most often city drivers.

But at least a front-end collision would improve the looks somewhat.

Lexas is just ugly on the front end. Infinity followed suit with that ugly type of design. At least the Toyota Camry is different although still ugly.

The announcements say that the Camry now has some sex appeal added to it... I just left a Toyota dealership and there is NOTHING sexy or will be about anything they make.

Toyota (and Honda) are really in the appliance business and provide reasonable value to the layman in getting from Point A to Point B.
