This is the first teaser image.

Emerson has been in some financial trouble, so HWA licensing his name for a supercar is probably going to be very good for him, assuming there's nothing too wrong with it. He's a good salesman too. I'm excited to see Pininfarina get free reign to design a sportscar again, and I hope it all goes as well as low volume sports car manufacturing can go...

Thank you! Amazing how slim the margins are for these niche car producers. €64.1mm revenues and €1.4mm of EBIT. It's sad but the industry lends itself to mass (cheap) production and economies of scale. Much better business model to build a million pieces of crap than 100 masterpieces. I wonder how Pagani and Koenigsegg fair, though. They seem to have figured it out, or just have very wealthy and patient investors.

I think it looks great, having agressive lines the newer supercars(aventador excepted) seem to have lost. Supposedly will be great on track.

Meanwhile what was shown is a non runner styling model.

We were at Pininfarina for a meeting back in July of last year. When getting our credentials at the gate Emerson pulled in a the same time. I guess he was working on this project at the time and the Italians managed to keep the secret rather well from us :)

Depends on how many they want to sell. If Lambo could sell a few rebodied Murcilagos for 3 mill then these days there is always a buyer or two for an expensive car. But I agree who will buy this over a pagani or Koningsegg.

They will need an AMG tie in for cred, and while 600 hp in light car is more than plenty its not a headline number, so they will have to make a headline number somewhere other than price. The Merc SLR was never sucessful.

Too bad its not the new Lotus esprit for 250k.

They want to sell 39. Rare but not sure how much cachet the Fittipaldi name still has.
It better perform head and shoulder above a 488, or even a 720S..

I guess Emmo never saw the Ford GT.

Then again, I'm sure Emmo won't ask potential buyers to post youtube videos of themselves showing how much they deserve to buy one.

Emmo quoted as saying elsewhere that this is designed to be great on track, also that the styling of moderns has become bland and this car has cues reminicent of exciting 70s supercars.

If any of the above true, maybe its a car more in the mold of a GT3Rs/F40/288 than a Pagani. Could be fun, and 39 not that many.

They have the endorsement of a racing great, and cool sounding name.
Pininfarina the "styling masters" and the sort of AMG tie in.
The marketing is good and they only have to sell 39 and they will sell they claim under USA show and display rule here(which is questionable).
Now all they need is some gushing magazine reports.

I'm sure they're not thinking like that... they want to have all of them spoken for before then.
