    interesting read. So if one were to have a stock pile of 60'-80's American cars,the author believes it is currently time to sell?

    Article seems like it was written to fill space and is internally inconsistent. The article premise says that new classic car buyers are interested in fox-bodied Mustangs and cars of the disco era to the Atari 80s, which was a tragic period in the US auto industry. And then the article cites sale of a 1965 El Camino for a high price as justification of the article's premise. To me, a '65 Elky is more of a muscle-car example from an earlier era.
