Novitec Full Carbon Aero+Powerkit+AWE Exhaust+HRE's Newest Wheels = TAG 570S is HERE!

The 570S is one of the most beautiful cars on the road. And for the past year or so, we have been lusting after its sexy lines and amazing reviews online so we thought it was time to get it done. With the Ferrari 488 and the 2017 R8 V10+ already under our belt, it was a good time to try the Brit!

We called our friends at McLaren Newport Beach and the deal was done. A beautiful 2017 Fire Black McLaren 570S was ours! We stepped back and looked at the beauty and knew that it had the sex appeal of a sleek sexy car, but it needed a bit more edge. The perfect solution to this problem was the Novitec 570S Aerokit. Being one of the largest Novitec Dealers in the country, we were familiar with the fitment and quality of the products and since our vehicle did not have any of the OEM Carbon packages equipped, we were excited to say the least!

We opted for the Novitec Front Spoiler which gives the front end a bit of an extension as well as joins the left and right flippers perfectly. We also opted for the side skirt pair, the side air inlet, the sexy carbon rear spoiler as well as the beautiful rear air intakes. The best part of the Novitec Carbon is the fact that all the carbon meets in the middle creating a V just like the OEM carbon does. Once we finished that part, we lowered the car down on the Novitec Suspension and stood back to pick our jaws up off the floor.

The drivability was incredible with the lowered height. The springs from Novitec really made a nice difference and the ride quality was superb. The Novitec Springs are manufactured by Eibach for the 570S which also manufactures the OEM Springs for the car, so the ride quality and overall performance was just a few notches up in all areas making it our favorite solution for the car!

After the aerokit was done, We drove the car for a bit and to be honest, the car felt like it was missing something. Compared to the 488, and 17 R8, it almost felt like it was missing some soul.... So we phoned our friends at AWE Tuning which we had done several exhaust systems with on the 12C/650S and 570S, and opted for their X-Pipe System as well as the High Flow Cats. The system went in without a hitch (much like every AWE Tuning Product we install) and the X Pipe comes in a beautiful inconel coated heat-shield to give the exhaust a very OEM style look but the sound...... WOW. We have done a ton of 570's and 650S' etc, but i finally spent some ample seat time and this changed my perception completely of the car. It should have come equipped like this from the factory! It sounds aggressive when you want it to be and comfortable when you want to be under the radar. We were impressed....

Next on the docket was power..... These cars, as you know, can produce some good additional power with software upgrades. There are a TON of great companies out there however 488 GTB, we elected for the Plug & Play N-Tronic ECU Upgrade from Novitec. The system is 100% reversible and gives you a bump in power without pushing the car beyond its means or making it un-drivable. Mated to the X-Pipe and High Flow Cats the car produces about 640HP and 510 Ft LBS of Torque at the crank. The powerband is very similar like factory and so far i couldnt be happier. The car is a MONSTER and is active in "TRACK" mode which is fun! haha.

So with the power and carbon goodies handled, we needed to address the wheels. So the car comes factory with a 19" front 20" rear setup. With the lowered ride height, and added power, you can always use a bit more meat on the road without compromising the overall diameter and geometry of the the factory setup. So we went with a 20x9 and 20x11" setup using 235/30/20 and 305/30/21 Pirelli tires. Wheel wise, we knew we needed to push on our friends at HRE to do something fun and different. The S2 series was launched about a year ago and we immediately fell in love with the S209. When the monoblock P2 series came out (1 piece version of the 3 piece S2) that was the one we needed but the question was what finish!?!? Black always looks great on a black car however we wanted to do something different. With Polished wheels always a favorite of mine, we had HRE Produce the very first set of P209's for our car, and also the very first set of MONOBLOCK's in FULL POLISH with Clear. It came out stunning - especially with the freshly painted Volcano Red Calipers, the combo was stunning!
