    Ouch

I do not know if it is just me, but it seems that auctions are not that kind to mid-level 70's/80's exotics.

Don't worry about it. In the Spring of 08, it will all be old news.

I am talking about prices. I am not talking about desirability, WOW factor, and or the performance capability of the car.

Compared to a Miura SV, 275GTB/4, 250SWB, and other hi end cars; it (LP 400) is placed in the middle of the pact.

    No?

I thought they had the lamborghini Registro.
When you fill in plenty of forms, pay even more then plenty cash,
and perhaps after buying some parts they want you to,
you can glue this special plate onto your dashboard.

    Whatever happened to this project?

Ralph~ my wife was not an obstacle to that car. At the time, I was looking to upgrade from an 8 cyl. Ferrari. I found that car to be spectacular to look at, but claustrophic in the extreme to sit in; perhaps I was wrong from a driver's standpoint- i didn't really like how I fit into a BBi until I learned to cant the seat back and drive with an extended reach in more relaxed fashion. I was certainly wrong from an investment point of view, but, hey, I have always claimed that I never bought any of these cars as an investment. Notwithstanding that, I would still love to have one of these early cars. They are the most beautiful of the Lambos, other than the Miuras.

Perhaps a different color interior, might help with the claustrophic interior ? - Just a thought.

The 350/400GT, is another beautiful car series. It is the L alternative, to the Lusso.

Why do some Countach's have the Suzuki Samurai tail lights while others (the one's pictured in this thread) have the full, arrow shaped lights? Is it a US vs Euro thing? Sorry for the silly question. Beautiful car by the way!!!

Hi Joe. Me being Canadian, Walter Wolf has been an interesting topic for me. Just a couple of questions. Do you know if he is still alive? If so, is he still in Canada and does he have anything to do with the automotive industry anymore?
