If you look into the 82 at Tonkin, talk to Greg. VERY straight-up guy. He owned an 81 or 82 308 himself for a while and only recently moved on to a 355.

I think you are right where you should be for a well maintained QV and you have the right repair/maint. budget. Mine is lower but I plan to do most work myself or bring it to someone I know in the area that will work on it honestly ;) At your budget I would think you could land a decent euro if you take your time.

That's a nice clean car. Good for someone that wants to drive it away.

Wife Would just shake her head. Grab the Debit card and go shopping. That car will cost me more than 30K when I pull the trigger. I should be able to by mid-late summer. That one will be gone but there will be others.

    Hey guys,

Has anyone looked at the yellow GTSi in our own FerrariAds? For an asking price of under 29k, I believe it is the real deal.

    Cheers, Hank

I have the opportunity to buy a 85 308 GTSQV with 45234 miles. All service recrods since 1993. I even met the mechanic who has worked on the car. He is asking $42000. Sounds good ,what about you guys?

The paint is original. I even spoke with mechanic who has worked on it since 1993. It just has an engine out major service and valve cover gasket change. He seems pretty firm on $42000. There will be others if this does not work out.

Probably can't go less. He has to pay for the labor to take the engine out when he didn't have to.

Sorry, I forgot, it's "easier" to work on if it's out...

then get a outside ppi done find something thats missing or something of maintance thats it going to need in the future so you have some leavage on the price but 42k is high but we all want our 308's to be worth more than what we paid for it,right? I know that when I'm ready to sell I'm going to..........lol
