I am looking for pictures of car #15 driven by Dan Gurney in the Grand Prix of Cuba 1960 (a Maserati 200SI, sorry about that). There is one in the Burnside book and one in the new birdcage book by Willem Oosthoekank. Thank you. Regards Wolfi

Other than Fangio, I don't recognize anyone in the two photos. The top one appears to be in a Spanish-speaking country, as the writing on the wall reads "PROHIBIDO FUMAR".
Fangio and a group of (mostly) Argentinians around Fayen / Dos Santos 750S before the 1956 1000 Km. of Buenos Aires.
In this link you will find the names of the known people in the pictures and a coment of the 2 venezuelan teams that compited in that race. The second link is the original licence plate of a 250MM that raced in Venezuela and Colombia, picture taken in late 55. http://server4.foros.net/viewtopic.php?p=2131&mforum=muchasrpms#2131 http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/66/250mmtrompa.jpg branko
Gracias Branko, The 250MM in your photo link (http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/66/250mmtrompa.jpg) (Venezuela, late 1955) is N. 0352/MM. The Milano plate record finishes with the note that the car was declared exported from Italy in 1955. Corrado Bellabarba researched this plate a few years ago and shared the news that it was issued 16 March 1954 and initial ownership in Italy went from Stazzi to a company that owned it for Gerini's use. Gerini raced it a number of times from March through June and then sold it on to Lumir Vesely. Vesely sold it to Giovanni Plodari shortly before it was exported and this last sale (or even the last two?) may have been a way of depreciating the car's value for tax purposes? Thanks a lot John, I was suspecting that serial number since visiting a Spanish Ferrari forum http://www.motorweb-es.com/foro/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=704&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=105 go to message dated sept 24. I met the widow of Joao Rezende Dos Santos who was the first owner in Venezuela, just a few days ago and got some pictures and racing results of the car. Thanks again you made my day branko PS you can see some of the stories of a few Ferraris that ended in Venezuela in this link. http://server4.foros.net/viewforum.php?f=16&mforum=muchasrpms

Thanks Marcel. Either remove it or credit it This is starting to happen a lot here. Other forums have got into deep trouble over copyright and it would be a shame to spoil such an interesting thread as this. If in doubt DONT POST.
Another one for the experts, found these pictures in Rezende´s album, it only says Imola 55. branko Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
