The show hours are 9am to 4pm but in previous years some of the interesting cars left before the end of the show. I would suggest you come early, after all you got an extra hour of sleep if you turned your clock back ! also parking is easier for spectators early.
Wow, you guys leave early. I got there about 2:00 and a lot of the F_cars were gone. Had a good run through the hills. What a beautiful day!
Hey Steve, Sorry I missed you. The event started at 9:00AM - and by noon, my back was on its way out. I must have passed you going the other way in the park driveway. Sounds as you're well and happy - what else counts? Cheers mate, Hank
I went with Dave and Eric and we had a great time. Robert, it was great seeing you; we split soon after you came over. Hank, it was a great pleasure to finally meet you and see the glorious Rachel. I also got to meet jjay911 and lovestodetail. Great folks, and I look forward to more and more California car shows and meeting lots more of the FerrariChat's California contingent. So many awesome cars today!
Eric & dad, it was great seeing you guys again. (Darth, he's awesome (that kid-o-yours). Robert, pleasure to meet and chat with you. Jerry, this evening, I said hi to Eugenio for you. T'was a pleasure meeting you. Carby - chill the beer, mate. (Rachel says domo arigato) Cheers, Hank

These are for everyone who missed the show. I counted at about 10 am and there were 35 Ferraris before Tom S showed up with the lovely 225 coupe #00168. to see the photos http://picasaweb.google.com/srslusso/11109FrItalyShow?feat=directlink
This was another nice show. My grandson and I always have a nice time here. It seems he has grown fond of the Citroen.
my two favorites were parked next to eaxch other. The Renault Alpine A110B and the 8C. Either car would make me equally happy. Who were the cheap sob's that parked outside? Could not afford the $15 to park on the lawn? This means you titanium 599 parked behind the P-356! And btw, bratwurst for breakfast is never a good idea!
This was a great show. An amazing collection of cars and good people! Here is a slide show of 160 pictures I took: http://www.cessationoflife.com/chrisfiles/frenchitaliancarshow.htm
I like to think that he was just in a rush and didn't have time to talk. I don't want to think that he blew me off because then that would change my opinion of him as a car guy.
But the fish tacos & shrimp ceviche were a good idea for lunch, yum. And the girls serving them up weren't too bad either
There was a reason that my 599 was parked on the street rather than among the other Ferraris on display. I attended the show for less than one hour enroute to my daughter's 6th birthday party. In my judgement, it was better to NOT be part of the show and leave as most spectators were arriving.
Here's our very own anunakki checking out the Alfa 8C and the Bugatti. Image Unavailable, Please Login
