A hi-def screen? Dayum! - The existing one is pretty darn good IMO. "More power" is always nice, but it's no slouch today. I guess the price will remain the same but I'm not about to upgrade unless there's a real game changer in there. Cheers, Ian
I have the first one. I never used it much, except for reading the odd book. Then I started flying. All the software you can get for aviation is simply amazing, and the iPad more than paid for itself. I will be upgrading. I like the increased battery life idea. I like the increased processing power. The camera is nice enough for Skype, but I wish it was on a tether and detachable. It's stupid to hold the iPad up and wave it around to get a picture. Don't care about the video. It's perfectly fine as it is, and more video means more processing overhead--decreasing battery and increasing processor load. Oh well. Overall, it's enough for me to upgrade. If I owned the second one, I would not be upgrading. Nothing compelling in relation to that, except for the video, and that's not compelling enough to me. And no, I won't be standing in any lines. Never have. I will simply pre-oder so it comes to me.
