I may be in for something...what time does it begin this year?
I think the events begin at 10am. Anyone traveling from the Lehigh Valley? Looking to meet up for a drive down to the concours.
Brett, There may be two caravans. The Algar group meets up at around 8am. I don't think the rendezvous point is at the C&C Starbuck's location. Given that it is "arrivals and car preparation" from 10am to noon, some don't want to get there at 9-9:30am. So there might be a second caravan leaving around 9:30-10am (probably taking a scenic route up) with the goal of getting there around 11am. I know that Joe Zaff, Alex Lee and Dave Marx went up at the latter time a year or two ago. Not sure who is up for being in the late group other than myself this year. Doug
Good morning FChatters- Just to clarify - the Algar crew is using the West Chester C&C Starbucks as our starting point this year. I don't know if Tony Palmer (Lampard1) was super clear about that in his post yesterday. Our plan is to leave there at 8:30 and take "the long road" to the event. I know we might be heading out a little early for some of you, but we have to get there by about 9:30 - 10:00 to get set up. I hope some of you guys will make it out to join us - we usually have a pretty good time on our ride. Make sure your tanks are full because were planning on burning a little gas...
We are there setting up as early as 8AM. Cars roll in usually around 9 and after. Sometimes a car carrier arrives the night before and the driver waits until we arrive. You need tickets to get in. There are usually spectator only admissions available at the gate $$$$. The weather is supposed to be good so the day should be nice. Pietro is hoping for 20+ Dinos to show, since the 246 Dino is the featured car.
I cashed in one of my last cards with my wife so I am good to go and will meet up with the Algar guys in the morning Image Unavailable, Please Login
I may meet you guys at Starbucks and follow up, completed some cars for this and would love to attend.
My first time attending and I thought there was a pretty good turnout. Great drive to the show with the Algar team. Some Dino Love... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Grrr. Reading is only 44 miles from me. Could've easily made it today. Maybe next year. Great shots too Jared!
Great shots Jared. It was good to see you there and WOW what a great day for a car show --- and dont worry about missing me --- my car was INSANELY dirty
Don't forget the Dino 1967 206SP! 'Best Competition' award. We restored this Dino vintage racer about 20 years ago and the paint and plating still are award winning. This has the same engine block - everything is else is a bit different Wil de Groot and our team @ Exoticars USA (we are sponsors on F-Chat) deserve the credit, but I had to assist holding up the gianormous trophy. Great day yesterday, great turn out, everything. This event grew from humble origins into a true highlight of the carshow yearly calendar. Had a really good time yesterday. Wanted to thank Francis and the Algar crew especially for the fun ride. It was also great to meet the new owner and speak with him . Very nice guy and sounds as if things will only get better and with the expert guidance of the crew up there the future looks rosey indeed. I personally think he needs to get out with us for one of out drives to really see what this group is really about. And Michael, Jody and Scootch for the food and drink. A few of my favorite images from yesterday. What a great day! The drive with the guys from Algar was spirited to say the least. I needed a valium when I arrived at Reading. Patrick's 430, the Californias and the Alfa 8C really sounded good. I think my favorite car yesterday was the vintage Superamerica the elderly gentleman was driving Image Unavailable, Please Login
