The last group of "guests" with the P-45 were great. I saw a lot of them when I lived there, which made the connection even better.

All in all it did look a bit forced, though.

Guess the mechanics are a bit rusty after so long.

Can't wait for the Egypt one and the multipla for pensioners

Got caught up. Pretty good episode. :)

I have to disagree with Hammond though - I think the Zonda (weird as it is) looks much better than the Huayra. There's something about the very snub nose of the Huayra that just seems awkward. The active aero bits also look a bit strange when deployed - I'm sure they work wonders aerodynamically but they're not pleasing to the eye.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I think Huayra will get better with time, when they'll change the front and the key and I expected the flaps to be a bit more independent left to right.
The part with the dragons was a bit cringeworthy and the whole episode was good but at no point memorable as usual with the first. I bet the last will be fantastic.

Completely agree. I much prefer the Zonda (especially the F and up versions, with the 760RS top of the tree!) as it's a much rawer car. Harry Metcalfe put it perfectly; think of the Zonda as a GT3 version and the Huayra as a Turbo...

I couldn't believe how fast it is though.

The P45 part was utterly hilarious, especially the last bit ''sorry I can't understand what you're saying''...that had me in tears :D. (Q: ''Why are your sleeves wet?'' A: ''Because they've water on them...'')

Never was so bored in all my life.

Really puts into perspective how good Chris Harris, Jay Leno, Harry Metcalfe are.

Old jokes rehashed .......... The minute I saw Jeremy's car I knew he would be driving it in a building .....again. For about 30 minutes. 30 minutes during which you could watch some original comedy.

This isn't a show for enthusiasts. It formula TV for the masses. They are talented, but they are just churning it out. Total Mush.

At least on the iPlayer you can flick through and see if there is anything worth watching in it.

I thought that was rubbish. The only bit was funny was Evan Davies voiceover from the real dragons den saying "Jeremy has suggested getting children to work in his factory". Was unexpected and deadpan and the panel reaction was still there.

I mean how many times has Jeremy joined a motorway in a very slow / vulnerable car and been terrified of big lorries? Same jokes over and over. Boring !

I think they are trying a bit too much going mainstream rehearsing the old tricks for an always bigger audience.
I think they're going in the direction of Monthy Python while they should go a bit more JackAss.
And I think sooner rather than later we'll see a Top Gear movie at the cinema

Anyone has any idea on who the stig is?
I know he often changes and sometimes it's the brand's official tester, but there is a main one and my money is on Anthony Davidson although takuma sato was mentioned too

JackAss was a pretty unsophisticated concept - didn't like it.

If they're going for Monty Python in cars, then that seems a worthy end-point. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I love Monthy Python but it's not original anymore while Jackass has the existential dilemma written all over it. ;)
