    Hi Guys,

So I am bored out of my mind, I have detailed my car 5 times already......and I mean serious detailing..... I can't take this winter anymore. It just snows and snows, so a friend of mine asked me to go to Montreal Lamborghini, I was pretty impressed, that Aventador is sweet. I would never give up my Mondial T but I would add a Lambo to the stable. Those Lambo guys look very laid back.

I would really like a Diablo, looks very mean and tough.

Your car will look great in the springtime. I've been driving mine all winter, it has mud on it and is just dusty and dirty as can be. My car looks terrible but I keep driving it, don't know if I'll ever get it detailed to the level some of y'all do.

I've always been a Countach fan. The dream of my life and the Diablo never really attracted me. But lately I've started to look at the CT as an aged car and the Diablo now looks better for me. After using this red car for a month I was more comfortable with it and looked at it with a different view. I had a chance to buy a CT lately and I really had to think twice if it really was a car for me or not. Since I can only afford to buy ONE more car I opted for a Testarossa at half the price.

If I was a very rich guy the first car on my list is a red/tan with gold wheels side draft Countach.

Leno used his Countach as a Daily Driver back in the day, that's awesome! As a safety feature, these cars came with a hammer to smash the windshield in case it turned over, lol!

I owned a 1970 Lambo Espada for about 7 years. The poor man's Lambo. In all my time, I drove it about 260 miles. I spent thousands getting it working, several times and thousands of hours working on it. My fix to drive ratio was about 100:1. When it did run(those few times) it was enjoyable but not that fantastic.

I can honestly say that when I sold it, I never wanted to drive it again. The Mondial QV has Honda reliability compared to my old Espada.

Can't really say I blame you Doc, had to look this model up. It seems to have escaped the napkin drawing and made it to production or bad proof of concept. Never the less, it's made automotive history. Love the plush interior!

I found the styling of the Espada to be quite tasty. The interior/ext theme was much like later cars with it's glass hatch and luggage area open to the cockpit. A fortuitous low Cd gave it plenty of top speed, but the car was squirrely over about 125, unlike wind tunnel tested types. Just empirically, I would say that an air bubble developed under the front grill, which had no spoiler, and an area of low pressure developed over the glass hatch, both of these combined to kind of lift the car at high speed. The 928 had similar issues with their hatch plan and had to spoil it with a rubber lip at first, and with the big wing in later cars.

The Espada was best at touring with four folks in the 80-90MPH range, while it's six dual side draft Webers slurped hi octane fuel at about 10MPG Low speed heavy clutch and no power steering on most cars made city driving a chore. A few cars were fitted with a Dodge auto trans, and some later ones came with power steering of questionable benefit.

Espada means 'sword' in Italian. Ferruccio was a bull fight fan, and the slender sword was the usual end for the bulls in the ring.
