Hi guys thanks for the comments on the picture with my Dad, it means a lot to me. My Dad passed away very young.

I really wanted to race but it was not possible at the time so learned how to fly.....

Claude, Jay, Mike thanks for your pics, one day I will get the Diablo.

Ahhhhh Claude you know I use overnight there a lot when I was on the Dash 8. Maybe someday I will be up there again. I love that Countach also.

So you know the Rouyn-Noranda airport then! The Diablo streched its legs on it last summer at over 285 KMH. With the permission of the tower guy of course. We were doing a photo session in the hangar of Propair.

Yes I know it well, many approaches there and I stayed at L'hôtel Des Gouverneur I think it was on the strip.

That must have been great to drive it on the runway. Claude if your ever in Montreal or more specific St. Lazare, let me know.

    Mike, that was amazing!

My childhood dream car and I have never seen video of Mr. Lamborghini before. I love the purity of these early cars.

    Thanks!

Ferraris and Lamborghinis were all over my bedroom wall in high school!
Yes, this 60 minutes video from 1985 was amazing as I have never seen it and its hard to find on Youtube, ~20 layers deep in the query.

A must see for sure guys! Our buddy Jay is lucky enough to have one of these !
    Just Wow !!!

    Cheers

I drove a brand new Jalpa in the 80's, and as I remember, it was a very heavy, powerful tank-like car, and you couldn't see behind you. Overall driving experience was great, especially on a sunny day with the targa top off. The Mondial is more nimble with decent visibility. The similarity is the 8 cyl engine and price point. I think the Jalpa replaced the Urraco as an entry level Lambo.

That 60 minutes is fantastic and cruel at the same time.

Remember guys, not a jewel to be stroked. A tool to be used. I expect to see rock chips or you lose your man card :D
