Thank You, Don. IMO a non-red car is the better reseller. But that will only take fact, IF you will ever sell your Mondial ... The original Plates are not allowed to leave italy. They have to be unmounted at the state border and have to stay in italy. Sorry.
Your cars look kept in very good condition. The red interiors really draw me in. I'm a huge fan of your GT4, both boxer paint scheme and red interior. That is an attractive car. And to my eye, those early cars had the best dash panel and controls. I love the way it wraps around the driver. An enviable collection you have there sir!
. I love the dash too... that raw minimalist design is a million times better than those uncomprehensible computer screens.
haha Markus, it is no way my intention bump into each other that way. Nice collection you have. I am still in love with the 308GT4, but at the time, and still, good ones are hard to find.
A track day for Mondial owners sounds like a blast!!! Our local DFW Ferrari dealer arranges track days a couple of times a year. I've asked him to dedicate/arrange one of those days for older/vintage Ferraris. Just imagine the sights and sounds of 10+ Mondis of all vintages tearing around a track!!! If we get this arranged, there's going to be some great video! Sid
Finally picked her up at the mechanic on saturday after major service and parked her at home ... I am very happy ! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks great Markus! They are really fun to drive similar to the GT4, but you will notice that this lady is somewhat bigger Nevertheless the driving experience is just super! Nice tyre pads! where did you get these if I may ask.
Thank you ! Yes, she's a big car, like a limousine, very comfortable to drive. The tyreshhoes have been specially produced by a friend some years ago, but he didn't do it anymore. They are similar to that typ of shoes. see link. https://www.autopyjama.de/tireshoes/
First search for parts ... The cigarette lighter (front) is missing. Any sources where to get one ? Also the correct fuel filler cap (without key lock) is missing. There is only one with key lock, but I don't like it. Thanks for help. PS. got two "folded key" blanks to replace the incorrect "rounded" ones Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Markus, I bought a new cigarette lighter and also a new fuel filler cap (reproduction?) at Eurospares.
First pictures at home and with her new sisters ... As you can see - there are some scratches at the hood to be redone. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
There's NO cigarette lighter missing. It's just a hole which is operated by pressing down the black ring surrounding the lighter. Element inside will light up. See owner's manual page 20/21 (fold out page) for details. My car is however a late ABS model.

The original OEM lighter for the 3.2 is quite different from the earlier ones as used on the 308. INSTRUMENTS - Ricambi America, Inc. . Image Unavailable, Please Login
But then again... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/mondial/344077-mondial-cigarette-lighter-auxiliary-power.html
Thank you, Wade ! That is exactly the "cigarette lighter" at the rear/passengercompartement at my Mondial. The hole for the Lighter in front is quite different (see my first posted picture of it). Question: Are there two exactly the same lighters at a EU Mondial 3.2 or is the "Front Lighter" different from the "Rear Lighter" ?
