Regarding Lambocars.com this is the other MY99 SV Roadster in left hand drive configuration. But i have no confirmation. This photo was taken at Affolter dealership who is famous for some Diablo modification. So i am not certain if this is an original SV Roadster. BUT! I saw this Roadster in person too. This car was in Germany for several years and later sold to Austria by a friend. Please note the rear grill and the modified rear bumper with 6.0 style exhaust tips. Hope i will get confirmation soon. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Please note that only the orange MY98 SV has the fuel filler unit of the Diablo SV coupe. It means the right rear fender is different to all other SV Roadsters!
reported by Andecorp on a thread on the Pistonheads forum.. I know they look like VT's but they are not. They have alcantara interiors for most part and they are all 2WD. The only external clue is that these SV Roadsters only have the bull badge on the back and no VT badge. The last one had SE front and SVR rear fitted after an accident. Supposedly there have been 6 imported by Lamborghini Australia, but no one has seen the 6th or even knows what colour it is. 2WD alone doesn´t mean it´s a SV. If you remove the front differential of a VT it is not a SV. However, some US-distributor did custom built some "SV" Roadsters themselves in the United States; remove the front drive shaft, front differential and the front half shafts, this would lighten a Diablo VT Roadster. But we can generally say that MY98 had more SV specs than the MY99. MY98: -SV front bumper -SV wheels -SV interior
Great pictures. In the MY99 brochure you find a picture of a Roadster with an alloy polished dashboard panel. Thibault any more information about that?
No, I don't have any info yet. XLA12433 is an Affolter Millenium Edition (#3) Regarding lamborghiniregistry.com and lamborghini-register.nl, it could be the same car.
Yes you´re probably right. Some details are the same. It´s a shame what happend with this unique car! But it is the owners choice...

All SV versions together. From the Miura SV up to Aventador SV. That silver MY99 SV XLA12109 is the factory press car which left Sant´Agata wingless. IMO for this shooting a yellow Diablo SV would look much more comparable to the other SVs. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Some MY98 Diablo SV for the UK market had VT wheels from new. Please note the SE side-skirts. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
New Zealand car imported into Australia. 6.0 wheels and 6.0 replica (fibreglass) wing. Current owner has added rear SV badge and SV gear stick surround. I have trouble with it being a SV as it has no SV features at all, inside and out, all VT. The 6th car in my old post above is gold and still with the original owner, hidden away.
I think there are only 6 SV Roadsters made. The rest is look like or removed the front diff which is really not a big deal. I assume 8hours work. For me the both MY98 SV Roadsters are the most interesting ones.
SV at Gosford Museum! I prefer the 6.0 but I can't afford a set of rims of a Lambo so who am I to judge. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's the poor car that's had 8 owners in the last 3 years, each of them dumping it when it needed some maintenance, so it got worse and worse. That blu 6.0 behind is absolutely immaculate and I just missed out on buying it last year.
I think the question that needs to be asked is what kind of owner would drop it as soon as it needs some maintenance? She was just very unlucky to end up with those kind of owners, and so many of them in a row.
