Ferrari GTO´s & more at event @ Sag Harbor, NY

#2111007 is currently owned by J.F., California, USA. Ex Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and Alfa restorer Paul Grist. Before that it was raced by either Nuvolari or Arcangeli at the 1931 Targa Florio and then raced by Scuderia Ferrari with even Enzo racing it on his last ever race outing.......

 

God I live right down Main Street from the village. Too bad I was back in NYC!

Thanks a million, Marcel. Looks like Mr. Lauren's kept the interior reasonably intact; the speedometer and the other little gauge that were always there off to the side have been removed and the seats have been recovered in a non-correct color combo, but besides that and the obligatory polishing-up, these are great references.

If you ever published a book of all your Ferrari Photos, it would be seven volumes long!!

 

I will check infos for Alfa...by curiousity and also
Ralph Lauren s display some cars in Paris and the Mc Laren was there.
It was a great day, the car is a real master piece in his collection.

Yes, in 2011 when RL's F1 LM appeared at Les Arts Décoratifs in Paris with many other treasured items from his collection was the only instance it has been displayed publicly since his acquisition.

No one looking in here should be unaware of that occurrence, but here are some photos just in case:

this was the first year of the event. I think they want it to be annual.
