My Jalpa on a cement truck scale in late 1990's: 3200 lb ± 20 lb (measured), half full tanks and no spare wheel.

So P118B around 3200lbs with half tank. Ivor's P118 3137 full tanks minus 50lbs puts him at around 3087? That's pretty consistent to what I've thought the weight gains were on the Jalpa. I recall yours wasn't quite stock?

Silhoutte not that's heavy campared to the 308gts and lighter than a Merak. But heavier than what the factory specs were if memory serves which were projected to be lighter than the Urraco. I don't think that's the later is true.

My Jalpa was stock (carburetors with US evaporation boxes, etc.) a the time it was weighed (no person inside either) ... and the 33 pound roof in place :)

Thought you might enjoy this.... I was at the Lamborghini museum recently and on a wall there is a huge diagram showing all the Lamborghini models.

It shows 6 credentials for each model: model name, years made, body type, engine, traction and number of seats. For the silhouette 4 out of 6 are wrong...

Body type is shown by the colour of the 'bar'. This is the key. A white bar indicates a Berlinetta body, a coupe.

For the V8s the number of seats is shown as either 2 or 2+ and traction as 2x4...

So here is what the diagram shows for the Silhouette:
    - made between 1981-82: Wrong!
    - white bar shows it's a Berlinetta body: Wrong!
    - the Silhouette is shown below the dotted line indicating it has 2+ seats: Wrong!
    - V8 engine: Correct
    - 2x4 traction: Correct
    - name: they spell Silhouette as SILOUETTE: Wrong!

If Lamborghini can't get its history correct, what hope do we have...?

    They got the Jalpa right

The shape of the arches and the aperture in the targa side panel, and the fact that the picture was taken in 1984...

It is 40016, I could identify, I hope some time and care was invested into the leaking engine.
