This model should appreciate substantially due to its rarity amongst Lambos.

Good eye on those errors gentlemen!

Sales brochure says "convertible" (although it seems to be more of a roadster with the removable top)... but I agree, it should be in the Spyder/Roadster category like the Jalpa!

The brochure specification notes have a variety of descriptions:
    Italian - Spyder convertible a 2 posti
French - Modele convertible a deux places
    English - Two seater, convertible
German - Zwei-Sitzer mit abnehmbaren Dach

In my earlier post I was referring to the descriptive text, "Una berlinetta dalle preztazioni superiori" and in English "A high performance berlinetta"...

    Thanks

Whereabouts are you and which number is it? Fronts are relatively straightward but recent rears are harder to find. I know two Yokohama rears available in UK.

Hello, and thanks for the quick reply, i am number 40086. I am in Europe but have no issue with sourcing from anywhere in the world if there is availability. Currently I am living in Greece but the car will most probably end up in the UK for the engine/subframe restoration.
The ones you have in mind aren't the P7 (285/40 vr15) which i am definitely interested. And of course the fonts too! My first concern is to get the original P7's and then i might put some other treads just for the drive
But for the P7's since they are soo hard to find I do not mind the wait as long as I finally get them. I would not mind if there was a group buy for reproducing them either, which was brought up at some time in this forum, which would be ideal for me

    Thanks
(by the way if its allowed to post emails i can give you my personal email)

They do make new Pirelli p7 in 285 40 15 but they are not the original style.

Pirelli NEW P7 Corsa Classic Tyre | Demon Tweeks

It'll be hard to find some original P7 and they won't be road worthy. Best to source some recent Yokohama if you want to use it.

Who do you plan to use to do the work? I use Colin Clark.

    Please post some pictures...

That's obvious, because this is the Corsa Version, not the regular P7. I had a set of Corsa on the front of my QV about 12 years back, they had already then nothing to do with the historic P7 pattern you're refering to: Lamborghini Countach #GLA12997 Anneau du Rhin 2004

Yup that is the pattern I am looking for. Btw when did the Countach switch from Michelin XWX, at the lp400s?
I must say thats a beautiful Lambo you got there

Yup that will probably be the alternative tread for driving it around, but that elusive P7... That is the one i need! I have not decided yet on who will do the work, although I know Colins work i very good! As for picture, they will follow as soon as it cleans up a bit :)

I have P7 typres on the orginal wheels but use a repro set of wheels with Yokohamas for day to day use.

I'm working on an article on the Silhouette and Colin Clarke at the moment, that should hit new stands in a month or so.

If I would take a guess I would say it is the 40030, that was delivered to seaside and now is in Japan. But that is relevant to when the picture was taken and when the silouette registry had the updates done. So dont take my word for it, but it is red, and by the looks of it has red interior

On a related note, I recently purchased this Silhouette kit. Is it based on a real car? I wasn't aware of any Silhouette ever having been raced.
