    Lmao at the Texans.

They give away a draft pick with their QB. Translation: please please please take Brock off our hands, at any cost.

Looks like Brock should have stayed in Denver.

Yes, but they do have to pay him his 19 mil, or whatever it is. Although I do believe they are well under the cap and can afford it.

You think he'd have beaten out Siemian? Kid was tough behind a marginal O line.

    Got it. Thanks.

I thought Kessler was promising in spots last year. Despite getting his bell rung and being on his back a lot of the time. I don't get this. Jackson is a quarterback whisperer, so maybe he thinks he can resurrect Brock's career?

Maybe he's a one year fix until Hue can pry AJ McCarron from Bengals? That doesn't make much sense, he's gotta start winning a few games or he'll be run outta town. The honeymoon don't last long anymore.

Browns made a very good move after *much* analysis:

They RECEIVED a 2nd round pick for Osweiler, not GAVE ONE away.

$17/mill cap hit they can easily take for this year, and Osweiler's contract runs out after this year. Worst case scenario he's a Brown for just this year and could be a so so bridge QB.

Word on the street is that the Browns are possibly looking to move Osweiler, so imagine if they did so for even a 3rd or 4th round pick.

They could end up netting a 2nd and 3rd round pick for free simply by "flipping" Osweiler.

    Pretty damn crazy.

Even if they have to eat some dead money to do it (which I'm not sure they need to do).

Ted Johnson was pining for McCarron this week. He's looked pretty competent filling in for the red head.

Arguably, he looked better than Brock when he filled in two years ago. That playoff game notwithstanding. Hard to believe that with all their draft picks that Cleveland couldn't pry McCarron loose. Then they'd have someone who is familiar with Hue's schemes.

Browns now say if they can't trade Brockweiller they will cut him. Scratching my head.

By canning RG3 they save $7 million and pay Brockweiller $17 million. So they paid $10 million for a second round pick. When is CLE going to draft an all-pro? Hope springs eternal. :D

So HOU got rid of Brock so they would have cap space for Romo. They will need a medical insurance policy that covers pre-existing conditions. And a good hospital. ;). Who is their backup quarterback? Weeden?

This trade gets stranger by the minute. Will be interesting to see who takes a flyer on Brock. You have to figure that if the Browns ain't desperate enough, who's next?

Job description is "must have no personality, no leadership skills, and throw a game ending 4th quarter interception".

Sounds like free agent Jay Cutler fits the bill :D

That'd brighten up a dull preseason. Can Brock displace Trevor or Paxton?

Cutler? Forgot he stated there. They got enough headaches at quarterback without taking on another.

And that's the problem with losing franchises today.
    NO patience.
Look at winning teams today - most coaching staffs have been together
awhile, that's why we see basically the same teams in the playoffs year after year,
GB, Sea, NE, Pitt, KC and others with front office staff that does a good job, such as Den.

Now go look at the teams that missed the playoffs, most of those teams have
coaching staffs or front office (GM) in turmoil, and some teams cannot afford to
keep all the 'stars': Indy, Phil, Wash, Buff, Mia, LA rams, LA Chargers, Clv, NO,
TB, Jax, SF and so on.

History has shown any RB over 30 USUALLY is done, the list is LONG.
It's like they hit a wall. Look at how many yards AP got before he got hurt, it
was like 2.1 yards a carry. He's done, after maybe one upcoming lackluster year
    in TB.
