My wife and I got pulled over 3 times in 3 days in my 92 Diablo, doing nothing wrong, one followed us into a Walmart parking area in back where the tires are, we stop theres flashing lights on, he kept accusing it of being a replica telling stories of how someone had an exact one, then his buddy showed up eventually left after a few jokes being exchanged. In the Diablo you are an instant Celebrity and very popular Lol.
this is something you do not see often a diablo keyring in leather, i believe one of the 2 kind of keyrings available for early cars Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hmmm, to late for me,i already watched this, if you do ,be very selective who you tell. A Diablo music video,in German.
This little video is full of good solid advice... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2OPBRj-7yI[/ame]
I watched it. Most of it is BS though, but yeah, if stuff breaks, it's expensive, and it's mostly guys that like the car. That was about it.
Holy Cow that was hard to watch... I'm happy for the guy, he seems passionate for the love of his car.
since the beginning few options were offered for the Diablo a Breguet automatic clock was by far the most expensive option available for the Diablo when the car came out easily surpassing the wing (in big demand as it was with the countach) and the 4 pieces leather special luggage a dark blue soft car-cover was also offered and i think some small items like keyrings ( i have found 2 types) and a card pouch as well as a small leather bag from my research i think 50 clocks were built but much less were put in diablos, some were delivered not mounted and few were put in LM002 i am looking for a definitive number of clock made...but very hard to find infos on these Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Emilio, There are also several versions of the Breguet clock. The number on the dial is different. If someone has any contacts in Breguet, perhaps they could find out?
I've seen a clock before that did not have the word "Diablo" on it, with the chassis number. That may have been the LM-002 clock option. So we have: * Different versions of Breguet movements * Versions with and without "Diablo" on the bezel * Presumed chassis number on the bezel, next to "Diablo" There are for sure more than 3-5 (like someone had posted on a sales ad), but how many is unclear.
There is a 91 diablo for sale in New York, ( not affiliated ) which is supposedly number 49 produced. The description mentions the car went out to Dubai from the factory. It doesn't have the early bumper but could it still be a "FAST" Diablo?
could be, not sure since middle east model may be... first 50 or so cars is what i have been told early bumper is only on prototype cars and some have been converted so you cannot split the FAST ones from the bumper
A what did they change in comparison to the other, later 2WD 90/91 Diablos? I can not imagine they did change a great deal as they must have been very busy i just roling these cars out of the factury back then.
My understanding was that the differences where slightly more substantial. Nothing that couldn't be done to a 91/92 Diablo though.
Well, if you have a radical ignition with dominating 38 deg advance, this will result in the most power, but you'll need the very premium quality fuel. Afterwards they could be running 36 degrees, being a littly shy for the fuel quality. Maybe, it could be the very slightly different cams (due to pre-production manufacturing), higher compression, I believe, nothing too different, like higher drop gears (as in QV vs. late 25th Countach).
Thought I would move this here. Much better numbers than the famous Judement Day test. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
