Countach 25th Anniversario

Joe - any thoughts on the value of this car. I'm specifically curious to know your thoughts on the current market for 25th anniversary downdraft cars. Any comparisons to the regular model year Countach market, USA vs. downdraft cars? Thanks for your insight.

Philippe Alliot's 25th anniversary for sale at Foitek. Strange because the 25th is not homologated in Switzerland.

It's written in the Ad, delivery in France. But nowadays you can register them with some effort..

 

I have heard from the guys at the DTC who homologate exotic cars in Switzerland that they were almost impossible to register. When I talked to them, they had two in the shop and said to me there was little chance that they would pass the test.

im no expert, but to my eye it appears to have one regular seat and one sports seat fitted

The sport seat allows more head room,,,you can sit lower. I'm guessing the previous owner was tall and that's why it's on the drivers side.

 

that was my thought too, but still odd that he didnt fit a pair as it looks wrong to have mismatched seats

The last Countach ever built by the factory is vin number 12995 and was of course a 25 Anniversary (like the Miura SV ) built for the famous Canadian F1 Walter Wolf

This is definitely not correct, the last 25th built is the factory Museum car, it was built with the first diablos right behind here, don't get fooled by the VIN.
The factory Museum car was built 13th June 1990, there is a Picture showing it. This Picture was for sure already posted in this thread!

Walter Wolf did the same thing with his Miura SV. He bought the last one

If Mr. Wolfs car was built in March and the Factory built the Museum car in June of the same year, which one is most likely the last Countach built?

When you write LLA12995 was the last Countach built for Mr. Wolf, this is for sure correct, but it's not the last Countach built in General

BTW By Chance I saw LLA12995 in 2001, since it was side by side parked to the Mimran QV when I bought GLA12997, here in Switzerland.
I was also in contact with the Guy who bought then LLA12995 and it was not clear if Walter Wolf or german dealer Walter Wolff from dusseldorf was the owner, who knows what happened to LLA12995, how it came to europe etc. I didn't follow this later anymore, nor what happened to LLA12995.
