I remember seeing *11001* in Toronto Canada back in the early 1980's. It was a strange thing with the 275 style nose but the guy said it was a Ferrari prototype. The car was in a repair shop owned by Remo Ferri on I think Keele Street. They also had a Ferrari V 12 motor stripped down and I remember thinking how tiny those pistons looked compared to big American V 8 pistons I was more familiar with. The best part was seeing a Villeneuve F1 racer car in the small showroom there!

Seeing the name of my old friend Joe Alphabet brought a smile. His original name, of Eastern European extraction, suffered from such a paucity of vowels that it was unpronounceable to most of us. He had a great number of interesting cars go through his hands, and was responsible for the first of the GTO-like bodies for Datsuns.

So Charles Jourdan bought 09021 in '66 at the age of 82?!?!

Still buying fast, stylish cars at 82 years old! That's great!

    Ed,

Congrats although is 328 is a bit tame considering a whole bunch of your prior ones.

Absolutely wonderful and as noted above, truly inspirational !!!

Sort of reminds me of a dear friend who recently at that same age, after having been a life long bachelor and seemingly always a "chick magnet", decided to drop all of his three !!! (& all considerably younger) girlfriends simultaneously to have more time to enjoy life his way.

My hat's off to you too, Mr. Niles.

    GREAT WONDERFUL

I think that you should have got a 308 even though they have slightly less power
and a parking brake that does not work, but they are prettier: sharper lines. And
they also handle a little better to my taste.

    NEVERTHELESS, YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION.

    Hi Ed,

What is the name of this color? It looks like Rosso Rubino but I suspect it might be something different?

    Thanks for the help.
