Well done Tony! Well done Martin!

Three Urracos attended the Silverstone Classic recently, a P200, P250 and P300.
Three Silhouette owners attended but no cars.
The V8s were outnumbered by eight Espadas...

No problem! It is better to post it twice than not posting it! By the way, your car is really beautiful!

hi there, I am new here and have just purchased a P300. the car is missing the spare wheel and the air deflector shield which should guide the air out of the compartment again. I believe it is installed there for a purpose so I would like to install one. However I have no idea what it looks like, the size and how it sits in there. can anyone help me? ;-)

hope to get any help and have some nice discussions here...

    cheers, Mike

btw: sad to the see that Austrian Urraco smashed...

Mine was also missing both the spare wheel as well as the air deflector. I'm making one using one from another Urraco as the template. My guess is that the main purpose, is to prevent the rain entering to the slots ending up in the front compartment of the car.

I strongly believe that this deflector is necessary for the airflow. there is so much air coming in, just think about the 2 fans which add to the air flow as well. But it sure is a good protection from rain as well. Please Uno, if you have the template please let me and us know as much possible about size and material. I wonder if this shield needs the spare wheel to be hold in place...

In an old car magazine I found a test about the Urraco showing a pic that also shows a strap to hold the spare wheel down...nice ;-)

Very nice, love that special color :)

Urraco's are very nimble to drive, I once almost bought P300 #20003 in 2000, but took the jalpa instead.

I am confused, because unlike as it is shown in the spare parts catalogue and also on many displayed P300s the vacuum hoses of my brake boosters are differrent.
As you can see in the drawing there is one hose that comes from the engine which is then divided into 2 hoses, one goes to the vacuum tank an one goes to the boosters.
On my car there are 2 separate hoses coming from the engine. One goes to the tank and one goes to the boosters. Is there any connection inside the engine?? Can anyone explain this to me??

    cheers, Mike

I'm going to be there but I've not registered as I can't get my Urraco to the event from the UK. I'd love to meet up and share stories. Olivier an opportunity to chat would be great per chance you k ow any more about my cars early Belgian history (20080).

Em42 - Iain at Cheshire is a very nice guy for sure. I visited them about 4 weeks ago and saw your car being prepared.

    Ciao.
