TO me the photo from Etienne's link looks like the car on the right you posted Giotto, not the "Vintage photo" from the left. The circular duct holes under the headlamps are up too high relative to the front grill when you look at the vintage photo to me that is obvious. Also the the real estate between those ducts and the grill is larger and a straight looking angle on the vintage photo but the "Museo Enzo" and photo on the right both show the thickness of that area is much skinnier now.

Obviously my opinion isn't worth much but to me the changes seen in Giotto's photo on the right are still completely present in the car now from it's display photos.

I'm not totally agree: I'm not saying it's perfectly identical, but for me the car in Modena Museo is closer to the left photo (Sebring) than the right one (wich perdiod ?)...

After Sebring and some other races, #0628 was rebodied with a 250TR style nose. In recent years, the car was restored and this 250TR nose removed. But the new front was total fantasy. The car was modified again and looks better now.

An application doesn't mean that the car has been accepted already.
Pebble Beach takes place 21st August 2016, no confirmations have been sent out so far.

What is wrong with Classiche restorations? I would think they are the pinnacle of restoration options. Do purist not consider this to be the case?

Just wandering and trying to learn.
Classiche seams to mean: we may have lost the datas or be unable to find out what is the real story but we are going to put a "prancing horse stamp" on it and sell it for big money.

People around here (Fchat) have more knowledge than the factory ever had. Just only because Ferrari didn't care much about it.
As any "car-builder" nobody could ever think these machines would one day become so desirable.
    Just factory and cars...

"Let's rebuild them"! Not better or worst than any passionate professional, but "Factory approved" which will make sens in any future auction.

Just to sum up: let's sit on history and sell people what they want..

    Am I wrong?
    (Pardon my French-English)

Yes i know that Fabrizio is the son of Tiziano but
in the video you see Tiziano (and not Fabrizio, as you had pointed out in your previous message).

    All the best,

I sold this car to the owner in the unrestored state from Belgium. It was a real racer pre restoration.
