Dang Nils, that is an impressive list.
I think compared to many contemporary Supercars, our cars are relatively simple to maintain, and will be regarded to be even more so with the passage of time. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
During the course of the Mimran Downdraft's restoration last year, we invited a number of people to come by and give us some feedback along the way. Cam and Vale with his head in the wheel-arch discussing suspension geometry. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Flashback - Raymond had the Mimran Downdraft with the German Club also, I'm guessing this is @ 7 years ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Almost, it's 5 years ago Lamborghini Countach #GLA12997 LCCG Schwaebisch Hall That Picture was from the Audi factory in Neckarsulm where we visited the R8 production line. This is my favorite: http://www.countach.ch/LCCG/Hall_2012/Hall%20(3).JPG

Is it possible that some of the later ones came with the front body panels flush with the windscreen instead of the standard slightly raised at the corner? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not from the factory, if you've seen a car like that perhaps the body panels or windscreen gave been retrofitted incorrectly, or its a replica.

Jeffrey Zwart-photographed LHD Nero Tenebre/Panna Downdraft from the Road & Track magazine factory visit in the summer of 1986, a rare combination (usually black is paired with black, red, tan etc), any chassis number ideas appreciated. I have begun converting my DD to a euro body and started with the back. The removal was pretty basic and the installation of the trapezoidal reflector/lights/etc... fit perfectly. I need to drill holes to install the logos on the back plate. Does any one have placement dimensions? Image Unavailable, Please Login
John, you certainly do not waste any time! I'll use this illustration of an image of my car to pull some actual dimensions as best as I can make them. Image Unavailable, Please Login
John, here you are, approximate dimensions in inches as best as my hands & eyes could make them, based off a factory-built unmodified Downdraft, so I'm reasonably sure these are numbers you can work with. I would imagine that this could be used for any car that has the Tipo USA rear panel. Image Unavailable, Please Login
When you get to the aftermarket side-skirts, let's have a word, there are some concerns I see with many cars that perhaps you can avoid. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Image Unavailable, Please Login IG image captioned by the poster: "Euro-spec, wingless Countach casually cruising down Carmel. And it has gold wheels. Oh yes." This was in fact on Ocean Drive, in Carmel. The problem you run into with IG images is that unlike the resolution quality maintained by images re-posted from say Flickr, if you re-post these anywhere as people like to do, the image quality suffers significantly https://www.instagram.com/p/BYtRpv-nlX_/?tagged=countach FWIW some nice comments made. As an aside, I’m @ 6’ 2” plus tall, and I must say whereas I barely fit properly in any of the various four-liter Countachs I owned, I am super-comfortable driving this one.
Just FWIW if anyone needs blueprint dimensions for the Downdraft I'm able to accommodate. Image Unavailable, Please Login
