Image Unavailable, Please Login Great weather (realtively speaking) this morning at Fiorano. No rain and light cloud. I had fun wiping the car down and it's actually the cleanest it's looked all week.

Had a wonderful experience talking to an elderly gentleman who worked at Scaglietti (who I met at lunch yesterday) when he saw the car he said he reconized it and remembers working in it in 1957 and 1958 when new.

It was a great honor to meet him and I took several pictures with him in front of the car.

Image Unavailable, Please Login Great awards cerimony. No prize for #0895gt but when you are in a class with a 250 GTO (automatic prize) and 250 TdF Zagato (probably the most awarded Ferrari in history - automatic prize) it's a pretty tough field! Even William Loughran's spectacular competiton SWB which was parked next to me, didn't win an award. (Correction - just awarded prize by a panel of "honorary" Judges - well deserved.)

I think the prize for all the owners is being in the concorso this weekend.

I like the deep red Ferrari models and that Cali Spyder prototype is at the top of the list. A certain deep red tdf would compliment the Spyder perfectly!!!

Mark thank you for taking the time to share so many images of the vast array of Ferrari models on display at Fiorano.

Fantastic that Ferrari was able to pull off this event with Ferrari models from different model years and styles plus many countries whose owners made the trip to Maranello.

The silver Testarossa spider was completed in 1986 on chassis number 62897. It can be seen in the first picture from post #456 here.

Image Unavailable, Please Login On he back roads near the factory now heading to the truck. This journey has less than 1km to go and it's the only time I have been nervous to drive the car!

So close now, I just want to get it safely in the truck.
