Here is how our Convoy 2 trip back from Italy last October appeared in Wheels magazine in Australia (March edition I think). With 10 pages, more photos, maps and box outs I think it's the best presentation of them all... This is #40016 , the car which was with Max Bobnar for many years. When I spoke with Max Bobnar in May last year he told me that he had sold the car to Luxembourg. Last year it was for sale in a collection in Belgium. Now with a collector in the Netherlands.
I can always rely on Michael Ward of Auto Italia magazine to take a stunning pic of my car. Here is 40006 at Brooklands Supercar Sunday looking good in front of the famous clubhouse alongside the latest offerings from Alfa Romeo... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful photo's Richard. Is anyone heading to Switzerland next month for the Concorso? Having just done a 5000km lap of Europe I'm not taking my P300 and have not registered but I do plan to be there and shadow participants. Ciao!
According to Classic Cars magazine the value of a Silhouette has gone up 114.3% since 2014... Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's a very precise figure. I wonder how many Silhouettes have been sold during that period? I'm also intrigued by the reference to 'growing factory support'! Jonathan

Apparently there was a Silhouette at Lamborghini & Design Concours d'Elegance in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, last weekend, although I can't see it in any photos. Was there one there? http://www.carscoops.com/2017/09/raging-bulls-gather-in-switzerland-for.html#disqus_thread
I don't think there was a Silhouette at the Concorso. I saw 2 Urraco's and 4 Jalpa (this includes the one parked outside the concours). 2 of these Jalpa were early cars with the Urraco/Silhouette rear lights and black engine covers.
Hi, I'm new on this forum. It took me a while to find this forum, but it seems te place to be for the happy Silhouette owners. 40016 is now registrated in The Netherlands. I took it out for about 1.000 km and still busy to bring the car to a higher level. I don't will give the car a restauration, just improve where necessary and keep the patina. During the coming months the rear suspension and shocks will be overhauled and the brakes will be serviced. Photo is showing 40016 together with 20066. P.S. Floating bumper car is 40078, now in Lebanon. Image Unavailable, Please Login
